African children have been used as part of unethical vaccine trials and studies. Some of these children have been injured from these vaccines, never received any compensation or justice for their life-threatening injuries. Afribundance fights for the right to informed consent, as well as for the compensation and justice for the victims of vaccine injuries.
Help Reject Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in Africa.
The recent push for Genetically Modified Organisms in some African countries has seen government officials offering free genetically modified seeds to farmers. Farmers have later complained about the costs of trying to buy new seeds, and the poor quality of the yield from these genetically modified seeds. Many farmers have opted to go back to planting their indigenous seeds. Consequently, some African governments have enacted punitive laws that prohibit the sharing, selling or exchange of unregistered or uncertified seeds. Farmers seen sharing this beautiful tradition of sharing or exchanging seeds will be sent to prison and fined.
Afribundance joins these farmers and communities that are fighting this imposition and we are lobbying the governments to keep the ban on genetically modified organisms. Africa has a wide variety of healthy and climate resilient indigenous seeds. We have to protect Africa’s food and seed sovereignty!
